FAMILY
Caroline Horton has been a specialist family lawyer for many years. As a member of Fenners Chambers since 1996, Caroline has extensive experience in dealing with family finance disputes and disputes in relation to the arrangements for children.
Areas of practice
- Family Finance: financial orders in respect of matrimonial, cohabitee and civil partnership litigation, including expertise in issues involving pensions, trusts, companies, third party asset ownership, inherited wealth, assets held beyond the jurisdiction, hiding or dissipation of assets, pre-nuptial agreements; and financial orders for children.
- Arrangements for Children: all aspects of private law children matters. Disputes involving issues of parental alienation, serious physical, sexual and emotional abuse allegations, domestic and international relocation (both permanently and for holidays), and all aspects of parental responsibility including name-change, schooling and medical treatment.
