Daniel Messenger practises exclusively in family law, and has done so throughout his career at the Bar. His personable and approachable nature makes him a popular choice with clients and instructing solicitors alike.
Areas of practice
- Public Family Law: includes non-accidental injury, sexual abuse and neglect.
- Private Family Law: includes disputes concerning child arrangements orders; cases concerning removal from the jurisdiction; and child abduction.
- Financial Proceedings: all matters of divorce and financial family law (including TOLATA).
Within his care practice, Daniel represents all parties, including parents, family members, Local Authorities and children.
In respect of private family law matters, Daniel has previously been asked by the local judiciary to assist in the training of the local lay justices of the Family Court.
