Iain developed a keen interest in commercial litigation as a law student and has built a substantial practice in this area since joining Fenners Chambers. Iain frequently appears in court on interlocutory applications through to multi-track trials. He has appeared in both the High Court and the Court of Appeal. Iain has a significant paperwork practice settling pleadings and advising on all aspects of liability and quantum.

- General commercial litigation: contractual disputes, sale of goods / supply of services, debt recovery and enforcement of judgments
- Insolvency: statutory demands, bankruptcy petitions, winding up petitions and Interim Orders
- Professional negligence.
Iain accepts instructions from members of the public and fellow professionals as well as traditional referrals from solicitors.
Recently succeeded in establishing liability at trial against an electrical contractor for negligent works resulting in the damage of £125,000 worth of electrical equipment.
