Jeff is a highly experienced and accomplished advocate with over twenty years’ court room experience. In the early years of his practice he acted in a broad range of cases but now focuses on family work. He understands the importance of providing straightforward, realistic and practical advice which is key in his approach. He represents his clients robustly in court, and does his utmost to resolve matters cost effectively and by agreement whenever possible.
He undertakes a wide range of Financial Remedy cases, TOLATA (involving cohabitation disputes) and Schedule 1 claims. He is regularly involved in cases involving expert evidence, business and corporate issues, third party interests, dissipation of assets, property subject to trusts and where foreign property is involved.
He also has extensive experience of representing parents and children in Children Act proceedings. The nature of the disputes have varied from contact and residence issues to serious allegations of abuse.
Jeff is happily married with two children. In his spare time he enjoys running (slowly!), reading and going to the cinema.
