Areas of practice:
Public law: Acts for local authorities, parents, the children and other family members in public law proceedings, and has vast experience with cases involving vulnerable parents, intermediaries, expert witnesses, complex medical issues, serious injuries and secure accommodation. Also experienced in applications for leave to apply to revoke Placement Orders and Adoption Orders.
- Private law: Acts and advises with respect to child arrangements (including difficult cases of alienation, alleged harm and domestic abuse) and special guardianship orders.
- Injunctions: Accepts instructions regarding domestic abuse injunctions under the Family Law Act 1996 (including occupation orders) and with respect to Forced Marriage Protection Orders.
- Direct access: qualified to accept instructions, in appropriate cases.

Re MYR – complex case involving a young mother who had physical and cognitive disabilities.
Re K – acted for 11-year-old whose father left her home alone in the UK whilst he travelled abroad for a few weeks.
Re B – acted for LA to resist numerous attempts to seek leave to apply to revoke a placement order.
