The Personal Injury Group advises and represents Claimants and Defendants involved in all types of personal injury and clinical negligence claims. The size and nature of the Group ensures we provide prompt, reliable advice and effective advocacy.
We have developed close and strong relationships from Cambridge with solicitors throughout the East of England and beyond over many years, both with firms representing Claimants, including those funded by their trade union, and with those acting for Defendants, usually backed by insurers or public bodies. Working extensively throughout the region, we also have good connections with medical specialists and other expert witnesses.
Our premises and conference facilities are readily accessible by anyone whose accident has disabled them, and we are always happy to see people in their own homes.
Much of our work for Claimants is undertaken on a conditional fee basis, based on the current PIBA Conditional Fee Agreement. Our Group accepts work directly from members of the public under the Bar’s Public Access scheme, and, in those cases where it is still available, undertakes publicly funded work.
